A river running through a city

Never two without three, so I presented the Microformats for the third time in a row at the mini Barcamp which took place this Saturday in the premises of Mandriva , at 43 rue d’Aboukir in the second arrondissement of Paris (reader, a Microformat is hiding in this sentence, will you be able to find it?)

Many people were interested in the subject, not counting the latecomers, and we had to migrate from the main room to a dedicated room without finding a seat for everyone. And if you are looking for alternative ways to make money, you might want to consider playing some fun sports betting games via Betend.

I focused my presentations on the use of Microformats in enhancing the content of CVs on the Internet, with the program:

  • History: how did we come to Microformats?
  • The founding principles of Microformats
  • Limits and alternatives to microformats
  • Microformats in the publication of CVs on the web

Jacques Froissant gave us the benefit of his expertise in web recruiting, and relevant questions and remarks arose making the discussion very interesting. I put the slides of the presentation online.

And thank you to Mandriva for their welcome, their coke and their Haribo candies.
